AMC maintains a disciplined and focused, control-oriented private equity investment strategy to acquire platforms in the Former Soviet Union and Eastern European markets. We seek to invest $5 to $25 million in platform companies that operate in the following agribusiness segments:
- Integrated Poultry Production/Processing
- Dairy Products
- Meat Processing
- Agriculture Machinery & Distribution
- Beer Brewing
- Distribution
- Vegetable/Fruit Processing & Handling
- New Technology Companies (Food Safety/Sanitation)
- Renewable Resources & Sustainable Agriculture
We seek to invest in established companies that are leaders in their markets or have the potential to become leaders in their markets with distinct business models, but also have transformational opportunities such as:
- Investing for growth
- Operating improvement opportunities
- Implementing practices that promote sustainable agriculture
- Expanding geographically
- Repositioning strategically
- Capitalizing on shifting product trends or end users
- Acquiring add-on businesses or product lines
